BLUEBERRY BUCKLE
Created for Little Red Robin Hood (People's Light, 2019)
Buckle base is foam painted purple. The blueberries are wooden beads painted purple.
The crumble are cork pieces with glitter.
FROSTABLE CAKES
Constructed for American Theater Company's production of "Picnic" (2017)
8 in floral foam
Cake is painted with acrylic and craft paint and spackle was used for the layer frosting.
The unfrosted cakes were sealed with water-based polyurethane. The cakes were frosted onstage using pink buttercream.
LADY BALTIMORE CAKE
Constructed for American Theater Company's production of "Picnic" (2017)
Constructed from (2) 8 in floral foam circles. rosting is painted combination of plaster-of-paris and spackling paste.
Frosting painted with acrylic and craft paint. Frosting decorations were piped on using thinned spackle.
The sprinkles were small craft pearls.
GLASS CAKE
Constructed for A Red Orchid Theatre's production of "The Nether" (2017, Jeff Recommended)
Pieces were designed by the scenic designer (John Musial) and laser cut.
Cake pieces were adhered together with E6000 that dried clear.
Acrylic vase filler was used to create the piping on the cake.

Constructed for the Bard SummerScape production of "Euryanthe" (2014)
All started with a shaped foam base that was covered in sculpt-or-coat and painted with acrylic paint.
Carved and shaped out of foam; and coated with acrylic and craft paint.
Pecans shaped from molding clay and painted with acrylic paint.
Cake was frosted with acrylic and craft paint; and glazed with tinted resin.
Carved and shaped out of foam. Based and layer frosted with acrylic and craft paint.
The topper was tinted resin that was molded in a plastic chocolate mold.

BANQUET APPETIZER AND BREADS
Constructed for the Bard Summerscape production of Euryanthe (2014)
Base is foam core and filled with sculpt-or-coat, with the bread painted with acrylic and craft paint.
Basil is faux flower leaves, onions are bits of purple berries, tomatoes are faux grapes with a painted foam insert.
Foam adhered with green glue.
Carved and shaped with bandsaw, belt sander, rasps and files.
